ChatAbout.com A New Earning Site

I found a new place to earn some cash from. I am reviewing it right now.  These are some of the things I have found out by being on the site just a few days.

All countries are accepted. They pay via PayPal or you can get an Amazon giftcard. They also have other "gift" type things that you can use your points to purchase as well.

The site is called ChatAbout. It has been online for a year.

Each time you leave a comment, answer a questions, refer your friends, or participate in our community, you are awarded points! Simply visit your profile page to cash those points for a range of great prizes shipped to you absolutely free!

Refer Friends - 20% of your friends points forever!

They have also added a bonus area. You earn points for surveys or doing such things as following them on Twitter, FB or G+. You can also watch videos and earn points. I am over 100 points so far and it is pretty easy. The content must be your own and it must be quality content written in English.

You can jump in and create your own topics or answer other topics started by someone else. Ask questions or answer questions. It seems really simple and its a little bit of a break from other things.

500 points is equal to $5.00 PayPal or an $5.00 Amazon gift card. 2500 pts equals $25.00 and 5000 pts equals $50.00.

I am still reviewing the site.  I have not been paid as of yet so I cannot officially recommend it as a paying site.  The person who referred me has been paid by them but I am not going to hold my breath.   These sites come and go and some pay and some don't.

You will in no way earn on ChatAbout what you do here on Bubblews.  I am just reviewing it.

So far my experiences have been a bit mixed.

Pros:
1.) Site is rather simple to use.
2.)  Site offers alot of different topics to choose to comment on and they are fairly easy to find.
3.) It is rather stress free.  More like fun than "work".
4.) You can post your links to other sites with no problems.

Cons:
1.) They had a 50 point cap maximum daily that you could earn when I started.  They did lift this the day after I joined so I am not sure if they will bring it back or if it will stay lifted.
2.)  I did not get the full 5 points for a video that I watched.  I only received 3 points for the video.  It took a while for the three points to credit as well.
3.) I have seen one person complain about not getting paid on the site.  The person posted the complaint right on the site about not receiving a gift.  The upside to that was the owner of the site jumped right in and politely questioned the person about it.  I do not know if the issue was resolved or not.

Like I said, its not Bubblews and it won't earn you nearly as much as Bubblews does but it is rather fun.  I will see where it takes me and I will post another review as soon as I reach payout.  If I get paid the review will be good but if I don't the review will be bad...

So stay tuned people!

Infants' Advil Concentrated Drops Review

I belong to Smiley360 and I was given a box of  Infants' Advil Concentrated Drops to review. These white grape flavored drops are dye free. They are commonly used as a fever reducer or pain reliever. Along with the drops to review I was given 10 coupons for $1.00 off on any Children's Advil Product.
In my household there is always a need for a fever reducer or pain reliever. I have twins that will be 17 months old this month. Elijah and Adam are very active boys.  They are constantly running and falling down as well as going through the normal every day infant drama such as teething. I have used the Infants' Advil Concentrated Drops for teething pain as well as headache pain with my boys.  The drops have also proven to be a great fever reliever as well. No teething pain is complete without the fever to go along with it.
I really like the fact that Infants' Advil Concentrated Drops are dye free and gives relief from pain and fever for up to 8 hours. The white grape flavor was also a big plus. I always taste test products before giving them to the boys. The white grape flavor was not too sweet and it did not leave the bitter after taste in my mouth that is common with most drops.  Needless to say, the twins had no problems taking it.  The drops went to work fast relieving pains and fevers.  Our household is very happy with the Infants' Advil Concentrated Drops for fevers and pains that seem to happen frequently in our home. I will buy Infants' Advil Concentrated Drops for my twins and I will recommend this product.
Several of my friends and family have taken advantage of the $1.00 coupons but I still have two left. If anyone is interested in receiving one, I will gladly mail one to you.
Below is pictures of the kit I was sent by Smiley360 and a picture of Adam when he fell into the coffee table. The poor thing is not as balanced on his feet as I would like for him to be. This little episode caused a major headache for the poor fella.

Infants' Advil Concentrated Drops worked great for my little one's! You should give them a try!

Thrift Shop Finds!

Last weekend Keith was out and about when he found a newly opened thrift shop. Of course he had to stop and investigate. What he found was a gem of a place with lots of treasure inside at reasonable prices. We were in need of new bedroom furniture for the twins. I even reminded him before he left that if he found a decent dresser for a reasonable amount to buy it. Well folks he found a great deal!  He came home with a nice dresser and chest of drawers made out of real wood for a whopping $15 each!  Someone had been working on these pieces as projects because one was already stripped down to the bare wood but the other one still has the ugly yellow stain on it. My plan is to finish stripping the remaining one and painting them to match the kids decor.  These are the before pictures and I will post how it looks after we are finished with it.

Dresser already stripped.
Chest of drawers that still need stripping.

Cheesy Pasta, Veggies & Beef!

I am really into simple recipes here at home. With three kids ages 3 and 15 months old I am always busy and I try to make cooking as simple as possible. This recipe is from "Betty Crocker Easy Weeknight Meals" September 2002 edition.  It is an all in one meal and very simple to make. It turned out pretty good. I did tweak the recipe a bit and the next time I make it I think I will do it differently.  Here is the recipe and the meal of the evening.

1 lb. ground beef
1 bag (1lb) frozen pasta, broccoli, corn & carrots in seasoned sauce
1 can (10oz) condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1 cup water
Macaroni & cheese flavored cheese topping or cheese-flavored tiny fish shaped crackers (if desired)

Cook beef in 10 in. skillet until brown, drain.

Stir pasta mixture, soup and water into beef. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover & simmer 5 to 7 minutes stirring occasionally until vegetables are tender. Sprinkle with cheese topping. Makes 4 servings.

Now I tweaked this recipe a bit. I used 2 bags of the pasta/veggie mix and I added extra carrots (canned/drained) as well as 4 oz of cream cheese. This gave us more veggies and the sauce was creamier with the added cream cheese.

The recipe turned out good but the next time, I think I will create my own garlic sauce and use individual packages of frozen veggies as well as cook my own noodles for it.

Manic Monday Mania!!!

It is that most dreaded day of the week! Monday again folks. We are coming off of a good weekend! My 22 year old son got married on Saturday to my beautiful new daughter! You can see their picture here.  It was a beautiful ceremony and they make such a great couple.

Sunday my friend Kim come by to get her bed and dresser that she  had stored in my spare bedroom. I was so happy about this. I have plans for the spare bedroom and for my attic room. I started cleaning out the attic room and trying to organize the storage closet up there. Of course we had to watch the Superbowl! Congrats to the Ravens! I think the best commercial during the Superbowl was the Taco Bell commercial featuring all of the older people. It was quite hilarious!

Now, on to the music video of the day.  Keith works the night shift at his job and that leaves me and the kids here all by ourselves during the evening. The kids and I are actually on the same schedule. We stay up very late and sleep most of the morning away.  I always tell family and friends that we are on the Nightshift and that we don't wake up until at least noon and that I will have my phone set to silent until we wake up.  To get to the song of the day on Manic Monday Mania! I thought that the song  "The Night Shift" by the Commodores was perfect for today. (After all we are starting the night shift again tonight!)

The Commodores wrote the song "Night Shift" in 1985 as a tribute to Jackie Wilson & Marvin Gaye. Wilson & Gaye were two famous R&B singers who died the previous year in 1984. It was their first and biggest hit obtained after Lionel Richie left the group.  Here is a link to the video and the words will follow! Enjoy your own kind of "Manic Monday Mania" !

Nightshift - The Commodores
Marvin, he was a friend of mine
And he could sing a song, his heart in every line
Marvin, sang of the joy and pain
He opened up our minds, and I still can hear him say

Aw talk to me so you can see what's going on
Say you will sing your songs forevermore (evermore)

CHORUS:
Gonna be some sweet sounds coming down on the nightshift
I bet you're singing proud, oh I bet you'll pull a crowd
Gonna be a long night, it's gonna be all right on the nightshift
Oh you found another home, I know you're not alone on the nightshift

Jackie (Jackie), hey whatcha doing now
It seems like yesterday when we were working out
Jackie (Jackie, oh) you set the world on fire
You came and gifted us, your love it lifted us higher and higher

Keep it up and we'll be there at your side
Oh say you will sing your songs forevermore (evermore)

CHORUS
Gonna miss your sweet voice that soulful voice on the nightshift
We all remember you, oh the songs are coming through
At the end of a long day it's gonna be okay on the nightshift
You found another home, I know you're not alone on the nightshift
